Apparently, Viewzi had its private beta launch when I was in San Francisco for Web 2.0 Expo, because how I missed it, I have no idea. Time.com says we should consider invading Myanmar. CNN.com decided that was front-page news. Should we really be letting the media generate "news" like this?

PC World reported yesterday about the latest malicious attack on innocent websites (see Web Attack Worm Infecting Hapless Sites by Erik Larken). While this particular story is news, the concept is old - there is no safe neighborhood on the Internet.

New kind of beetle found! By CBC staff! Staff on the state-owned CBC Newsworld, where, suspiciously like Fox News Channel’s O’Reilly Factor, “The Spin Stops Here”! (-- or is that just on their “Politics” program?) apparently discovered the new creature. They called it the “GREENHOUSE BEETLE”. Most other people, like the folks at the National Post, which features the little bugger on their front page today, call it the Mountain Pine Beetle. Labcoats call it Dendroctonus Ponderosae. Bu

"MarketPlace" was broadcasted on Feb 6 and re-ran on CBC NewsWorld on Feb 9. It was about claims made and declined by the major banks (and their underwriter Canada Life) regarding mortgage insurance that the borrowers took when they assumed their mortgage.Link: http://www.cbc.ca/marketplace/in_denial/
